NEW - A magical new event venue  – the Khaima at the Rock Hotel

The sumptuous all-Moroccan Khaima, or marquee, has been delighting guests since it was launched beside the Rock Hotel’s poolside area earlier this summer

It has already been used to host a high-profile wedding reception, and corporate events held there include SG Hambros using its wonderful atmosphere to hold an Ascot Ladies’ Day in June, complete with strawberries and cream and champagne.

Whilst it can be converted to suit any occasion, at heart the Khaima is one hundred per cent genuinely Moroccan in every detail. Using Blands’ good name and contacts, the group’s Nuria Saccone went to Marrakech to meet a team of specialist Khaima makers who designed a 300 square metre traditional Moroccan marquee;  the team even came to Gibraltar to install the spectacular structure.
