Blands Travel co exhibits with the GTB at leading trade fair FITUR

The International Tourism Trade Fair, currently in its 39th year was hosted in Madrid from the 23-27th January. This leading trade fair for inbound and outbound Ibero American markets, saw Blands Travel co exhibit with the Gibraltar Tourist Board and Ministry Of Culture meet new potential customers and suppliers, as well as to maintain and strengthen existing relationships.

Jennifer Squire, Sales and Marketing Manager and Paul Hayward, General Manager at Blands Travel explained that the event also provided a great opportunity to see new possibilities of excursions offered close to Gibraltar which can add value to visiting customers.

FITUR has been bringing international tourism professionals together for years, with the idea of generating contract meetings between buyers and exhibitors at the show. In 2018 the fair was attended by a record 10,190 exhibiting companies from 165 countries/regions, 140,120 trade participants and 110,860 people from the general public. The attendance of 7,856 journalists is a turnout that shows the importance of FITUR on the international circuit of tourism industry events.
