Hovertravel helps HIVE help others for Christmas

Hovertravel and its customers have donated hundreds of items to HIVE today, just in time for Christmas. Hovertravel handed over the trolley load at the Southsea terminal.

Hovertravel’s Managing Director, Neil Chapman said: "We have been collecting food and toiletries in our trolley in the terminal for the last week and our customers have been very generous. We wanted to give our community, including our staff and passengers, the opportunity to donate whatever they can.”

HIVE Chair Rev Bob White added: “The HIVE Portsmouth is delighted to support the distribution of this amazing collection organised by Hovertravel, we will ensure through our networks that the contributions go to where they are most needed across a variety of organisations supporting the most vulnerable in Portsmouth. The more that organisations and individuals work together and share their resources the more we can do to show the huge generosity and desire to help others which exists in our community.”

HIVE Portsmouth is a collective of organisations dedicated to building stronger, more connected communities across the city. More information can be found here: https://www.hiveportsmouth.com/
