Skybreak team visits Alitalia at London City Airport
A team of five agents from Skybreak, the UK’s leading airport representation company, has spent a day with the Alitalia operation at London City Airport.
Jonathan Adams, Commercial Manager at Skybreak, explains: “We have worked with Alitalia, for over 20 years, utilising their route network as alternative flight options for our travel recovery services and assistance for passengers at Gatwick. We wanted to arrange a meeting where we could learn more about their operation. The day also provided us with the chance to see how one of our business partners works at a different airport and the opportunity to share best practice.”
The Skybreak agents were particularly interested in seeing the Alitalia Shuttle which offers six daily flights from London City to Milan Linate, with the earliest departure from London City at 7.00, arriving in Milan at 9.50 local time, and the last return from Milan at 20.30 local time, landing at London City at 21.25.
Jonathan adds: “As part of our service looking after passengers at Gatwick Airport, Skybreak ensures that it has the best knowledge of flights from all other London airports so it can offer an expertly informed set of options for customers looking to reset their travel plans due to disruption or missed flights.”
